Social Events

Through the year the Shed organises a number of social events.

BBQ on the First Friday of every month at 12:00 - All welcome, it's a good time for non-members to visit the shed to see if you would like to join.

The two most important annual 'occasions' are the summer BBQ and the Christmas Lunch.

In addition a number of trips or social events are held. This year 2024, we will continue with our two main events the Summer BBQ and Christmas Lunch, both dates to be confirmed. We will be having a fish a chip supper evening with another talk by Dave Allport MBE a Shed member. This time the talk will be "Battle of Trafalgar", date 22 March 2024 time 1830. Details and sign up list will be available in the kitchen. We have a joint meeting with Berewood Women's Institute planned 16th October 2024 where we will assist the WI members to make something from wood. A popular event amongst members as they make exceedingly good cake! Later in the year Richard Veitch, also a Shed member, is invited to give a talk accompanied with a fish and chip supper again. Title of talk, date and time to be confirmed.

2024 is the 10th anniversary of our opening and it is hoped to celebrate this in some way during the year. Again watch for Newsletters or emails and any notice published on the Website.

We are happy to organise any occasion or trip members feel may be of interest to others.

The ladies

The wives, partners, girlfriends also meet on an occasional basis away from the Shed, and take part in all our social activities if they wish to.
