BACK ON THE TOOLS

As some of you know I fell unconscious while driving on Good Friday in 2018 and consequently couldn't drive or use machinery. So naturally I was limited to the lunchroom in the shed. I was eventually fitted with a pacemaker and can now drive again. But it was 2 or 3 years since I had been in the workshops and everything had been moved or changed or I had forgotten how to use it. In addition I had lost some confidence. I haven't fallen unconscious since the operation and I am back on the tools again. It is a good feeling and I would like to say thank you to all the shed members who have helped me on this journey. I have used most of the machinery in the shed and done various odd jobs as well as making a fruit bowl for a wedding present.

In that I was greatly helped by Derek who must be glad that the job is finished. It was well received by the happy couple or at least it is not in their log basket yet.

John Murray

Good to see you back John. A nice good news story and a special thankyou to everyone especially Derek R for his help in getting John back amongst us again.
