3. Staying with ASDA, I had a nice surprise through my letterbox last week. It was another cheque this time for £750 from the ASDA FOUNTATION. Again on a personal note I would like to thank Jacqui for her guidance to me in completing the application and getting all the boxes completed correctly.

4. Shed members Dave L Paul T and John B completed these lovely ‘memory boxes’ with wood from an old bookcase sourced by Carl M. They will be going to local care homes for distribution to some of the residents where eventually they will keep photographs and other mementos. With a heightened awareness of dementia now, these are a valuable way to help those unfortunate to be suffering from this cruel condition to cope. A lovely project in more ways than one as not only will it help sufferers but also has prevented valuable wood from just being skipped at the tip. Brilliant effort by Dave, Paul, John and Carl providing community support from WMS
